Complaint On visiting your store with my son who is partially sighted and rarely gets out he was happy to Choose some clothes , when we got home he wanted to wear them the next day and found that there was security tags on each clothing item so very disappointed. We live in amble so it is a 30mile return journey . We spoke to the manager who was helpful and polite who said to pop to the shop the next day. On doing so I was met with the lady who served me who said she was the manager for the day. When I asked about compensation for the travel which had been discussed with the manager the previous day she said well I can give you a discount but you will have to purchase something. I agreed and bought 2 garden lights which were on buy one get one free , some kids pjs and a drink for my Little grandson who was with me. When I questioned if She had taken the £5 discount off she said abruptly that she had she also said the ale must of gone off I said if the alarm had gone off we would of got the items checked so the alarms did not go Off I felt as if we were being blamed. On checking my receipt I have been charged for both lights with I don’t know how as it surly should have come off at the till but I did check and it hadn’t. I am frustrated and angry that once again by the same person I have been over charged had security tags left in and a rude member of staff. Great place Experienced dog groomers with an honest and understanding of all breeds. Highly recommended and wouldnt want to go anywhere else.
